London, Day 1

This just in... Visiting London can be hazardous to your health! Hahaha....
Well, there is a way of traveling 'beside' car called "The Tube" harrowing on its own!
And that's just getting from one area to another!
But, there are sights aplenty!
This is just a few I will post today.
Some of these are with the aid of a new sightseeing experience called "The London Eye".
Considering I once had an extreme fear of heights... I'd say I did well today!

 Something called "The Shard"
The House of Parliament and the tower of 'Big Ben'
 MI6 for 'Bond' fans!

 "The Tube"!

Windsor Castle, England

I know I said no 'Tourist' kind of photo's... But this IS The Castle! When I came to the land 'across the pond', I had to visit Castles!
And that I did! In Ireland they were everywhere! Ancient with stories and so much more! (I promise to post some of my favorite pictures soon.)
But when you come to England, you can't bypass The Castle! And this is it.
We avoided London today because the Marathon was held and we didn't feel like dealing with that large of a crowd so we went to Windsor... We uh, weren't aware that today was the Queens Birthday too! So even though she wasn't around, the crowds were anyway! Still, we managed and held up, barely....
Anyway, It was a great highlight to visit this place even though some lessons learned weren't what I'd expected.... Seems Kings of the name Charles have a proclivity for messing around! One of the places outside of the castle was 'famous' as the house where King Charles the II visited his mistress, Nell Gwyn! Now a Chinese restaurant and coffee house. Oh well! not as bad as Henry the VIII I guess! :)
There were some awesome things as well, a female member of the Queens Guard and a grand 'crooked house' too!
Anyway here are some of my Views from today, enjoy the walk with me!

Seems in the end today I broke two 'promises'! Not to post 'touristy' pics or judge!
Well, it was a loooong day! :)

A last gaze of the English countryside, for now...

Heading into London tomorrow so we took a little country ride to see the beauty before heading out.
Had some wonderful breathtaking sites while here in the countryside and here are some pictures to say goodbye with...

The Chalice Well

Thanks to a Dear Friend from FB, While here in Glastonbury we were able to view a beautiful 'Garden'!
There are 'signs' throughout this site left to 'tell' the future generations of the simplest message from the 'Universe'
If we could but perceive!
Below....
Perceive and Enjoy!
